just picked up big soup here in tokyo a couple of days ago. MW072 is mo
betta mo wax, 13 tracks of sonic craziness from mssr vibert. 11 real
tracks, with an intro and and outtro. a few pluggish interludes, but by an
large picking up where throbbing pouch left off. solid, more polished --
less ominous than phatlab and even the more impending sections of pouch.
largely this is very orchestral triphopy fat beats, incorporating craziness
ranging from speaker to speaker whistling, space ghost on nitrous, chronic
dawgbark mayhem, phantom of the opera pipe organ jammouts, and all other
kind of craziness which i probably haven't fully sorted out yet. . . all
bound together by a thick street cred groove.
worth searching out, much bettah than the recent single might have had us
believe. . . . . .
