Speedy J was a bit dull at first, but ended with the best bits off Public Energy. TPower did some excellent stuff - not as noodly as Waveform, not as cheesy as SETOAIM. Squarepusher took the piss a bit, but fun nonetheless - he came on stage, pressed Play on the DAT, and walked off, only returning briefly to restart it when "the batteries ran out"; no live base, no live knob twiddling, nothing. The Ninjas/DJ Food did an top 2-hour set mixing loads of styles (funk, hip hop, d&b, pop). Jimi Tenor - what a star! And Ray Davies was pretty cool as well... Paddy ;;, | Paddy Grove, \\ .;(((((c.
