anyhow. pickin's are fairly slim up here for regular club nights. we
have a pretty hoppin jungle night on tuesdays at the baltic room. there
is fair downtempo night on thursdays at the alibi room in the k&d/18th
street style. beyond that, i ussually stay home and if i want to go out
for some music, i check out a band would otherwise never hear (caught a
great surf band called jonny astro a few weeks back, good fun.)
if you want to shop for records, my favorite store is wall of
sound. doesn't have a huge selection but generally has the quality goods.
