hmm, i wasnt really very impressed by The Clubfoot ep. I read an interview
with him in The Wire recently where he was boasting that he wrote like
3 songs a day... Unfortunately it sounds like it to me . I love minimal stuff
but id rather listen to Spymania for experimental d&b and then listen to some
Robert Hood for a good dose of minimal. I also heard the ep on Dropbeat and
that didnt move me either. However the Downpour 12" on DropBeat is incredible
and very well done, and the 7" is very original too, these two releases have had
care taken over them.
