Cloned is one of those albums that the first time I heard it, I was just totally floored. Its some of the best industrial
dance stuff out there. Amazing drum programming, cool vocals and really unique synth textures. This stuff is alot more dense
and intricate than the Atom Heart stuff. Another cool thing about this alubum is that all of the songs are made up of the same
200 or so samples, just re-manipulated in different ways. I remember ready in an interview with Uwe that he sees Lassique as
his more complex and thought out project while the Atom Heart tracks are more jammed and freeform. Another cool thing about
this album is that there was a limited edition of it put out with just the samples(which I'm still kicking myself for not
buying). As far as I'm concerned, this album is DEFINATELY RECOMMENDED as is Render and Matter. Also if you dig out
Lassigue....check out Haujjob's "Solutions for a Small Planet"
ROB:)!!!!
