On 15-Mar-97, Jeffery Cohen scribbled something about (idm) Blech track id:
quoted 9 lines aftre listening to a local show yesterday, i remebered
>aftre listening to a local show yesterday, i remebered
>one track that stood out. i had talked to the dj before he played it and
>said there was a song coming up from the Blech comp. its a dark d'n'b
>track with some keyboard tones running up and down [goes for awhile],
>then towards the end there is this sample, "let me out, let me out, he's
>dead, he's dead. Help me David, where are you?" then a knocking and a
>scream. the sample has the feel of an old, old horror movie, possibly
>Frankentstein [1931] but i don't particulary remember the first name of
>Dr. Frankenstein.
that's Laughable Butane Bob, from AFX Hangable Auto Bulb EP. It's track 9 on
the Blech CD. That "let me out! let me out!" sample was added by PC and
Strictly, who mixed the CD.
