The new Orb record is great. It's a perfect blend of the old school
(housey) Orb and the newer Orb (Pomme Fritz, Orbus etc) stuff. Lot's of
heady samples, abstract noises, everyday sounds (like a car, fire engine,
the usual stuff). Plus, at times, PHAT beats. There is a drum-n-bass
underlying current throughout the record, making itslef more prominent
during certain tracks. An all around solid morsel of IDM.
