Ay, there's the rub. Well, I dunno how we are to define Intelligence, let alone Dance Music. But Immanuel Kant (sorry for the frequency of references; I'm writing my thesis on him) firmly established that intelligence is inherently discursive, that is, it entirely consists of the discursive mediation of concepts. So I guess we'd have to look at Dance Music, if it is 'intelligent', as being discursive. Rekkids as a bunch of texts. Bring on the deconstruction.
