I would like others thoughts on Anton Price's music. I have two 12"s,
the last being "Tryptamine" (think that's the name, it's not in front of
me), which has this curious kind of throwback sound to it...almost in
line with the AI series. Don't get me wrong, it's contemporary with
smart beat work and hints of DSP flavor, but unlike a lot of the current
glitchy stuff Price's music doesn't seem to have evolved in a stylistic
vacuum. In short, it's easy on the memory, an aural sedative. And
anyone who can confirm that the artist is from Belgium gets my thanks.
