This release on Metropolis (US) is a very big and imposing pile of industrial techno. That doesn't say much to distinguish it from too many other CDs, but I can compare it favorably with Lassigue Bendthaus' "Cloned" and "Matter". It's a bit cleaner, more refined, less grungy and shifts through a spectrum of industrial genres, always keeping the beat more innovative than 75% of button pushers who release records, and sometimes more than 90%. Others may certainly disagree. Industrial jungle isn't as wack as I would expect, in their capable hands, that is. As with anything, listen first. You'd probably be checking out Metropolis stuff already if you liked the above-mentioned Schmidtwerken. Alas, my mouth fell open and I had to say something. Take care.
