i really hate realaudio. 1) it sounds like garbage. 2) the compression technology is proprietary. streamworks totally wipes it from a technical/sound quality perspective. however, xing's marketing department is pathetic. hence realaudio, like microsoft and vhs, reigns supreme. *sigh* with all that said, check out: http://www.cyborganic.com/people/jsd/sounds/nosmoking.ram for my latest piece of drum 'n' bass kittens, rendered in grainy 28.8 realaudio. :) ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jon Drukman jsd@cyborganic.com -------------------------------------------------------------------------
