I'd be very careful about dumping alcohol on a record.I did that to clean off
the run-in groove of a copy of Probe #13 and ate it... All the crap in
Coca-Cola is water soluble. I think the chap with the suggestion of using a
dilute solution of Alconox (laboratory glassware cleaner) and water had the
right idea. You might want to use distlled water to reduce the abount of
residude left behind, though the Alconox will help with that.
