I don't know why, but Rephlex seems to do this alot.
Bluff Limbo was finished a couple of years ago. The
Vulva CD was music from two years before. Alot of
Rephlex stuff seems to take two years to be released.
When I met Autechre in LA, I told them that I liked
their remix of Kinesthesia. And they said, what, we
did that so long ago. I am amazed that Squarepusher
came out so soon, not two years from now.
I'm not dissing Rephlex in anyway, I have alot of
respect for them. And I buy most of their releases,
I just wish that the could get things out sooner. Or
let us subscribe to a Rephlex mailing list and buy
advanced copies.
