While probably not the producer's original intent (who would be able to
tell, anyway?), it has produced a small but tenacious slowed-jungle scene in
some parts of the world as well as making an appearance on the JDJ Coldcut
CD. I think it's rad, as I tend to do with tracks with adventurously
programmed rhythms. Some of that Photek stuff is pressed at 45, and so is
the Destination Africa Jungle mix by Moody Boys, but you might also venture
into the experimental electro and triphop sections of your favorite reseller
and scoping out their new jungle and rhythmically explorative rekks. Its
coming out all the time, though the fact that a lot of jungle is pressed at
33 nowadays might be a sign of that intent that was mentioned somewhere else.
