I was watching City Limits on much music this evening and to my
surprise they played Basscadet by Autechre, Cowgirl by Underworld,
Inner City Life by Goldie and Hell is Around the Corner by Tricky.
Interesting to see much music playing videos of this sort especially
all in a row like they did.
Also, after City Limits, The Best of the Tube came on, and the first
act was Grandmaster Flash. Oh, that show makes me laugh sometimes,
it's great.
So, any people who may work for smaller record companies or for those
people that do independent film, City Limits plays a good variety. And
for those that do less of music video format and more of an
experimental film type thing, check out Open Wide. They have a weekly
program on CBC television based here in Winnipeg that plays coast to
coast. They even have an e-mail address openwide@mbnet.mb.ca.
