I went up to Seattle for this, and much to my dissapointment no Aphex
Twin to be found! Just a bunch of lame psuedo-alternative corporate
"alternative" bands. What a waste of $25. The next night was scheduled
to be in Portland Oregon, so I bought a ticket from a scalper (the show
was sold out). Aphex Twin did show for this. My advice is for those
going to the concert is to get their early, and even if you don't see the
aphex twin chances are he is there (he was kneeling in front of a pair of
turntables behind a huge stack of speakers on the side of the stage, just
listen for the freaky wacked out music). I got a chance to meet him and
he said that he lost 2 flight cases of records so he was pretty pissed
off about that, and the reason he did not make Seattle was due to a
flight fuck up. It is too bad they don't give him more time to dj, he
was only spinning for about I hour, but then again how often do you get
to see the aphex twin dj?
