Okay, it's happening, I have to sell some vinyl or build an addition to my living area. Guess which is cheaper? :) I tried to price them really fairly, (some *more* than fairly!) Prices have been slashed twice now. I'm sorry to see some of these go, but I figure if I haven't listened to them regularly by now, they deserve a loving owner that will give them the stylus attention they deserve. I'm doing this to save space in my ever-shrinking apartment, so the only thing I'd prob. trade for would be "Objects D'Art"/Carl Craig's "Chicken Noodle Soup" and Kraftwerk's "Computer World" -- all on wax -- if you're willing to trade one of those to trade, let's talk. Shipping: 1-3 records, add $2.50. 4-9 records, add $5.00. You buy 10 or more records, I'll pay for shipping. All records are in good to excellent shape unless otherwise noted. Some are in mint condition, those are noted. US and Canada only, or, well... I guess if your overseas and you're willing to pay the extra shipping, I'm sure we can work something out. All 12"'s unless otherwise noted. Artist + Title: Vice - Survival Instinct Label: 430 West, 4W-140, 1991 Info: Got Me Movin (J. Denham), Mindmelt (J. Denham, R. McMillon), Positive Problem (J. Denham), Peace Out **the best track** (J. Dehnam, + Shake). Note this is the same Jay Denham from Black Nation records. "A visual noise label." $3 Artist/Title: Kenny Larkin - We Shall Overcome Label: +8, +8 002, 1990 Info: Ken's mix, Richie's Loonie mix, J. Acq shall overdub, Rubbernotes: stretch mix, 5th gear edit. Own a piece of history, I never really liked this track. Kenny's come a long way. ;) $2 Artist/Title: Speedy J - Intercontinental Label: +8, +8005, 1991 Info: Wicked Saw, Minimal, Journey, Spectrum. $3 Artist/Title: Himadri Label: +8, +8042, 1994. Info: Smile vendetta, Lucid Lure, Ah Elektra, On your knees, Perverted Truth. Intriguing experimental acid, some tracks are lower BPM's with growling pimp beats. $3 Artist/Title: Turph Label: Probe. PR 022, 1994. Info: 187th, Jealous (east mix), Jealous (pimp mode). All by Himadri and Bliss. Experimental acid and odd electronic burps. $3 Artist/Title: Eddie Flashin' Fowlkes - Stella 2 b/w Bust the Jam Label: Peacefrog, PF031, 1994. Info: Cool and different sounding for Eddie. Bust the Jam has more samples and is a pretty funny track, playful. $6 (import) Artist/Title: Morgan Geist: Quadrilocular EP Label: Metamorphic, METOG150, 1995. Info: ***THIS THING SUCKS! *** Heh hehh :) Just kidding! :) Actuallly, I was trying to sneak a review of this record in here, without Morgan noticing. I'd never sell this record. In fact, it's an inspiration to me. For a first record, it sounds like he's been making electronic music for 5 years! I'm really impressed with these 4 tracks of melodic passionate techno, (or is it house/techno?) beautiful and totally mixable and definitely dancable. Busy at times, lots going on, some smooth, some more punchy, lots of beautiful snyth lines. Jeez *every track is great!* electronic trickery, love those side-sticks and fat chords too. Dan Curtin gives a re-work of one track for extra' flava'. This is seriously the most refreshing techno record I've heard in months, goes down like a tall glass of fresh-squeezed lemonade, with that extra "bite" in it, too. Bravo. _______________ Artist/Title: Artificial Intelligence II, 2 record set + "Ltd. Editon" 12" Label: WARP LP 23 Notes: 12 tracks of IDM you all know and love. Speedy J, Beaumont Hannant, Richard Kirk, Autechre, Higher Intellgence Agency, Link, etc. I don't know how really "limited" the 12" is, but it's Darrel Fitton: Metalurg, b/w Kenny Larkin: Maratime, which is excellent. $10 Artist/Title: Excursons in Ambience - 3rd Dimension - "Limited Edition DJ only" 2 records. Label: Astralwerks, ASW 6119-1 Notes: again, I don't know how truly "Limited" this is, but the record labels themselves are white with just a big letter on them, A, B, C, or D. I assume this was different somehow than it's other release? If there was something extra bundled with this, it didn't come in mine. If you're just getting into ambient vinyl this is a solid comp. to start with: Spacetime Continuum, Grain, Seefeel, Air, FSOL, Divination, Steve Fisk, Michael Kandel, AFX, etc. $8 Artist/Title: FFWD - inta 001 LP, 2 record set Label: Inter-modo/dicipline records, 1994 Notes: this was the ambient project by Robert Fripp, Thomas Fehlmann, Kris Westan, and Alex Patterson. Mint Condition, import. $12 Artist/Title: Grey Hawk - Future Embracement, 2 x 12" Label: DJAX, DJAX-UP-217, 1995 Notes: 8 tracks By Hold Greve and Hocke, recorded in Hilversum, Holland. Some hard acid, some smoother acid. Mint condition. I paid $20.00. Yours for $12.00 Artist/Title: Aprohead - In Thee Garden Label: Global Cuts, GC 31 Notes: 2 mixes of Dark stuff by Chicago's Felix Da Housekat, mfg. by R&S. Mentor mix and Aprohead mix. $5 Artist/Title: Aprohead - Prophets of Nature b/w Interactive brainstorm Label: Global Cuts, GC 32 Notes: 2 traks of more darkness by Chicago's Felix Da Housekat, mfg. by R&S. $5 (or buy both Aprohead 12"'s for $8) Artist/Title: Seefeel - Fracture b/w Tied 10" Label: WARP, 10 WARP 53 Notes: That undefinible Seefeel sound, a little more twisted this time around. $3 Artist/Title: Octarine - empyrean Label: Orgaico, Chicago?? ORG 010 Notes: 4 traks of experimental/ambient, by Joel Westendorf and Robert Coddington. $3 Artist/Title: Midwest Hardcorps EP Label: Drop Bass Network, DBN 012, 1994 Notes: Hyperactive, Manna, Frank Freeks, Feed. Good sampler of DBN hard acid and hardcore. $3 Artist/Title: Zekt - Godley Obscurity Label: Drop Bass Network, DBN 020, 1994 Notes: 4 tracks of hard acid, mint condition. $3 Artist/Title: Joe Louis Label: Relief Records Chicago, RR 705 Notes: Classic Relief sound, 4 tracks of good minimal traxxy house. Like most of Relief, made as a tool for the DJ. God I love this label. $3 Artist/Title: Melvin Meeks - Magic Horns EP Label: Target Records, TR9495 Notes: 4 tracks of Chicago house, the title says it all. Produced by Joe Louis, written and mixed by Melvin Meeks. $3 Artist/Title: Auto Kinetic - V.S.P.E.R. theory Label: DIGIDL records outta Minneapolis , DIGIDL 004 Notes: 4 tracks of trancey techno by Joe Golden and Mike McClure $3 Artist/Title: The Yellow Peril Project, Vol. 1 Label: hti/microcosmic, MIC-01 Notes: 3 tracks of asian techno from D. Chow, ranging from ambient to experimental. $2 Artist/Title: Rabbit in the Moon: Phases of an out of body experience Label: Hardkiss (licenced from Halluni-Nation records), 1994. Notes: 5 mixes from acid to tranceish. I believe that these are the same guys that did the unique Bells/Hazed release on +8. $3 Artist/Title: The Grid - SwampThing. **HEY, STOP THAT LAUGHING!** Label: I don't even know, RCA? Notes: (Grid Southern comfort mix, deep piece dub, and deep piece mix) Please, this is a mercy killing. I didn't know it was gonna be played on the radio every hour..... the deep piece dub mix is sorta' cool... $2, or free with any other purchase. :) ________________________________________________________________________ | Matt MacQueen | | multimedia/WWW production | |===================================| |==================================| | macqueen@student.msu.edu | | human interface, CD-ROM | |________________________________________________________________________| -8 -6 -4 -2 0 +2 +4 +6 +8
