Question: Did Coldcut do a commercial for M2? Because the commercial I saw had scratching and samples of school children singing "One, two, people people" and the famous "Honey I got rhythm." Rusty

How nice for M2. People can listen to this great music with nice visuals and think "Wow, that's really good music -- it's cool M2 is playing that." However, when the person wants to track down the music in these soundbites they can't because M2 doesn't list the artist or song title. Weak. Sort of, just like Photek, the Orb, and two other IDM groups I know I have records by but can't quite place. As if they didn't air way too many M2 commercials already -- about two minutes of eye-fodder and pointless "what is music" segments repeated after every third or fourth video -- the network also has 30-second bits with "cutting edge" artists set to "cutting edge" visuals. I was fooled at first, too... .JohnBush. BTW: Was it here or somewhere else that I heard MTV is unveiling six or seven M2-ish channels, each devoted to a specific style. By late '98, I could be watching M46: Latin American Dark Ambient... Or something.
