it appears as though ill need to buy a sequencer for my laptop. can anyone recommend a good, relatively cheap, sequencer/software for the pc? i won't need audio stuff. just midi sequencing. i really cant tell the difference between the 300$ cubase vs the 80$ cakewalk for midi sequencing. I'd GREATLY appreciate any insight/info, you idmers are my only resource(hence why i posted this here)... thanks idm: people really seemed to liek the DMX release frresh(or somehting to that effect), how does it compare to The Sound of the Streets? I just got it, and I like it alot. also, anyone else have the Electro Phunk cd/comp on adrenaline? its really good: sem, a.baambata, uberzone etc. i just saw vol.2 in the store yesterday,i think its new, anyone get it/any reviews? thanks andy

Just got which? ffressh? I have both, I must say I prefer sound of the street, just because it is more musically pleasing to my ears. I like song 2 the best really. Ffressh is far more varied, and has a few songs I like, but it definitely lacks the something that SOTS has.. could be that SOTS is "bubblegum pop", which I guess I'm a sucker for ;) I just can't wait for fffressh2.. DMX turns me on, i'm not sure why. I know you think I'm sick, and you're right. On Thu, 18 December 1997, at 19:26:32, Andy wrote:

I still need to track down the 2nd volume myself, but here's a tracklisting/review posted on the electro-breaks list courtesy of T-Snake: ---- Electrophunk Two Adrenalin Records ADR-0024-2 Track listing: Soul Oddity : DJ Tokyo Third Electric : Electrosmog Mystery Man : Electric Sheep Andy Dux and Bombing F. : Cybervision (A. Mix) Delta : De-Escalation of Time Uberzone : Moondusted Ultratubes : Flip Kick SEM : Hybrid Edge of Motion : Dream Sequence (Sterac RMX) Eon : Phase Test (30 Beat Cycle) Don't ask for individual remarks... other than... DJ Tokyo is the only questionable track IMHO (and it's still good, though PRETTY DAMN OLD) I don't know abou the age of the others. I'm no spotter. ;) I just listened to it for the third time today... I love it. This kinda comp is what gets my blood flowing in a special way... electro...mmmmm ---- Hope this helps! The thing that I love about the first one is that they've got a bunch of classic tracks that you'd usually never see on a comp and it looks like that's true for the second one too! It's also a pretty smooth mix. I've never seen v2 and wasn't aware of the track listing. Upon checking it out, it looks like even more good stuff, especially the Sterac remix and electron cuts. I'm on the look out for it! peace, brock np: Ro70
