Thumping crunchy funky detroit techno is the answer. Serious hard grooves
crafted out of metallic noises, stormin dancefloor material but imbued with
subtlety. He also makes the occasional twisted beauty of a near-ambient track.
Check out his recent "Live at the Liquid Room - Tokyo" CD for a considerable
selection of his tracks, with others of a similar nature, all brought together
by the man himself in an excellent example of the art of live mixing.
High-Octane stuff!

I say Jeff Mills playing at "Strutt" in north London about two weeks ago. It\
was a shit-hot night. I'm not generally into techno all that much but this
was such a cracking night out I'm planning to buy some new US techno at the
weekend. Respect to Jeff Mills. John's Tack.
