I'm ploughing through "Gravity's Rainbow" by Thomas Pynchon for the 2nd time (once every 20 years, whether I need it or not). Last night I got to a scene where Tyrone Slothrop is reading a 'PlasticMan' comic book. This book was first published about the time Richie Hawtin was born. Coincidence?
