i'm also a big fan of noon - here's my take on his work other than vurt and pollen: automated alice - very kick ass... a little hard to read on occasion, but does the most interesting take on luis caroll's writing style and combines the world he created in vurt and pollen with it. needle in the groove - non-liner writting style supposedly informed by the idea of 'mixing', ie. dj'ing. revolves around the manchester punk scene and has lots of historical references to it. not his best work tho. pixel juice - ultra awsome! short stories and experimental writing. corbalingus(sp?) - more experiments on text deconstruction... very cool. i haven't read "Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom" but is sounds cool, and if i can get it for free - totally :) -s On Fri, 2003-04-04 at 13:55, Aaron D Meyers wrote:

He's a new guy on the scene, but definitely really good. He recently published a great novel called "Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom". Takes place in Disneyland in trans/posthuman (no death) time. Money doesn't exist and instead the world operates on a sort of fluid system of cultural currency and reputation called "whoofie". > > Anyway, one of the coolest things about the book is that not only was it published in hardcover, but its also avaliable for download entirely for free in a plethora of formats.
