The chances of getting a straight answer from RDJ about this whole ad
thing are about as much as not having an Autechre related post on this
list for the next three months.
And not having seen or heard the ad, I'll just say that if I boycotted
artists based on their opinions, who they get money from, who they give
money to, and what causes/groups they supported.. I'd have an empty music
collection....
BUT...
If some of you are understandably going to sell off some of your RDJ
collection (in particular, the rarer items..) as a result of the disgust
from this ad, then please vent your hearts out and let me know what items
you're selling off for the cheap. Because...um..... I obviously want my
money to go to fine folks like you, and not to support a failing war on
drugs. Uh, yeah... that's right.
