Well, I guess I just meant that it's not a good idea to generalize or speculate about what emotions a song evokes or how emotional it is. Emotions are, of course, a subjective experience. What one person experiences when listening might not be what another experiences. Maybe "dangerously" wasn't a good word to use. I just meant that maybe it's not worth using emotion as way to evaluate music. In fact, the only way to know what a song has to offer is to listen for yourself. Writing about music is usually useless. Just my opinion. BTW, I don't mean to put down discussion on this list. I've gotten a lot out of it and enjoy finding out about stuff I haven't heard or hearing about upcoming releases, etc. I just don't get much out of people talking about what emotions a song evokes because I've found that I often react differently. As I said, that's just me. Jeff
