i too agree with sean (cooper) in that i'm surprised so many people like
the new aphex album. i mean.. hopefully without getting a bullet in my
head here... i think the album (except for the the first track) is a joke.
if i heard that as a demo tape it would be laughed at.. i just think
becuase it has HIS name on it.. people think it's so great.. and so
INNOVATIVE..(???)
i dunno.. i'm a bigbig fan of polygon window.. and SAW 1.. and some of
the bubblebath stuff.. so this new stuff with horrendous chord
progresssions and child-like tinkerings in a muddy stew just seems like a
step backwards..
imho.
does anyone else share this opinion? or.. WHY do you consider this album
to be GOOD.. maybe i'm just missing the point.
