push button objects cash 12in schematic Note:'Originally released in March of 97, the infamous "Cash" EP is back because 'it still rocks', timeless by all means. This EP has not aged a bit. Hard hitting ghetto hip-hop mixed with warm textures and catchy melodies is still ruled by lo-fi King Edgar Farinas. Dorky IDMers should go steal a Kangol cap before listening to this. Packaged in the nighttime Designers Republic generic sleeve Although this is supposedly "infamous" I was unable to find a tracklisting for it or even *mention* of it in any schematic discography, PBO discography, PBO interview, any website or anywhere else in my extensive online searches. Can someone please tell me what tracks are included in this "infamous" release? Many Thanks, Shimone/Justes http://www.staticbeats.com Electronic Music For The Mind http://www.staticbeats.com/sb365idm.ram

Based on the fact that Schematic recently reissued several other very early releases, I'm guessing that this is probably SCH003. It wasn't titled "Cash" when it was first released, and there is no track called "Cash" on it, but March/97 sounds about right for when it was originally issued. If my guess is right, the tracks are "Lockligger", "Striffe", "Trot" and "Maercs". This is indeed sch003. It is called "cash" not because of a track title, but because it came (in a clear sleeve) with a graphic on one side of the record which displayed a guy standing outside a store with neon sign "cash". Hence "cash". Not sure if this is its actual title or if its untitled, I tend to think that it was untitled, because I've seen it listed as both "untitled" and "cash". Anyhow, It is absolutely wicked and funky as all getout. All of the tracks on it were re-released on the "dirty dozen" CD, so this is a vinyl-only fetistist sort of thing. In cash you want to save your change and get 3x the number of tracks.
