The good old Mixmaster is very good at repetition, yes. Great album, Irresistible Force. "Air" is quite experimental and *sort of* housey in places but there's too much of just whoaa whoaa. Too much 'new age' (whatever that is). - chris@minsk.docs.uu.se

I think the best thing about Namlook is his simplicity, the way everything seems to fit together. He has a wide range of styles too, which isnt something you see all that often. Just take a look at his output on FAX alone (I hate this text editor!) to see that he's done as much trnace and techn as he has ambient stuff. By the way, has anyone who has "season's greetings - winter" noticed that the last half of it is just the first half backwards. Its one of the most relaxing things i heard in a long time Anyway...... darko i hate this editor....

friends: I caught Namlook's _Air_II_ (or at least an hour of it) on ..Hearts of Space last night. It was the first exposure to his music that I have had, apart from the one track one TEX2, and I enjoyed it very much. I recall that he puts out alot of music, and would like to get in touch with some of you FAX-fanatics. Basically all I want to know are your overall opinions of FAX material, favorite titles on FAX, and how you think _Air_II_ stacks up to other FAX material. Spyra I could see...all his Fax albums are pretty kickin (especially Sferics). Namlook, on the other hand, is forever trapped in 1993. His keyboard skills are downright embarrasing. He needs to take a jazz improvisation class at the local community college I think.
