Anybody know if the _All Music Guide to Electronica_ has actually been printed yet? Since it's entry first came into books-in-print close to 8 months ago it seems to be lingering in the database as "not yet available" ... can any of the contributors assist with some info? The delay is getting ridiculous - Thanks, J np: Richard Thomas vs. The Wormholes Join The Party @www.cpusa.org --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Unfortunately, it hasn't. We were set to publish the book through St. Martin's Press, but then clashed with them on material rights. Since then, our "publishing people" have presumably been looking for another publisher, though I get the feeling they have more pressing concerns. I'll post again to the list once I get some concrete publishing information. At the very least, we've been able to do a lot more work in the months since our first date came and went, adding many recent standouts (ISAN, Aril Brikha, Four Tet, Kevin Yost, etc.) and classic electronicians (White Noise, Richard Maxfield, Joe Claussell, Slam Mode, etc.). Stay tuned... .John. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
