Yeah i know i was a bit unclear in my explanation of what I'm looking for...
Basically I'm not interested in synthy or electronic sounding music... there
are an abundant of awesome techno artists (Landstrumm, Daft Punk, LCD
Soundsystem, Mike Ink, Headroom, etc) that I absolutely love, but Im
wondering if there is any music or artists specializing in "sampled music"
techno....
Like you know how Cypress hill beats are very loopy and essentially repeat
the same 4 bar sample ripped out of an old jazz song or whatever... and you
hear the grittiness of the record crackle, the simplicity of the repeated
loops... i want that same lofi grittiness but in techno format.... pretty
much a hip hop beat with a different drum sequencing and faster tempo....
Apologies for my ignorance, but yeah ive been out of the loop. ;)
