Goes to David Kristian, who I've just 'discovered', sadly late in the day. How come no-one here has ever raved about his stuff, such as 'My Three Suns'? Or the recent 'Rhythms for the Rainy Season'? Takes the spirit of early Autechre and resolves their doleful emotional ambiguity into creepy but often beautiful pieces with an expert grasp of atmospherics. Alas, he's returned to sound design and given up 'IDM', it seems.
