I hadn't seen this before - thanks a lot for posting the link. It's very opinionated and very likeable as a result even if I don't agree a lot of the time. Great clips as well. Oh and he does mention IDM under Jungle on the lefthand side. He doesn't like it much and who can blame him? <<Notwithstanding the lack of IDM, has this: http://www.ishkur.com/features/music/ come up on the list before?>> My favorite subgenre is Stupid House. Sure, I dabble in many subgenres, including Intelligent Dance Music, but it always seems like I come home with the most ladies when I spin Stupid House. _________________________________________________________________ Watch high-quality video with fast playback at MSN Video. I saw this link posted in the idm room on soulseek once and had trouble finding the link again. Thanks David S. for posting it. Even though it was posted before here in this forum I'm sure a few newbies, ravers that were too e-tarded out to know what they were listening to and the uninitiated ones that think all electronic is trancy & hard housy should find it useful and educational. I'm not sure if all the info 100% accurate but I didn't see any discrepancies myself. Some grey areas and blurred lines but feel electronic music artists and listeners get carried away with all that subgenre breakdown business anyways. Ibiza? Buttrock Goa? WTF. Anyways thanks again for sending it. We can post this link if per chance we the members of this forum build a website to document all this vast musical knowledge we "IDM'ers" seem to possess. -Rick http://metrobot.bestmusicpages.com _________________________________________________________________ Stay informed on Election 2004 and the race to Super Tuesday. http://special.msn.com/msn/election2004.armx --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
