It's a 7" and the music is in the raw-and-melodic "middle-period" (hah!) Suction style, somewhat akin to the Human League's "Dignity Of Labour". Just keep an eye out, people on this list are always throwing out gems like this one in their incessant auction lists. -e --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

hello. i'd like to add that the tracks are available on the suction records cd compilation "snow robots volume 2" -- which is still in print, and available. you can even purchase it directly at the suction records site @ http://www.suctionrecords.com bye Edwin Wong [ suction@rogers.com ] ----- Original Message ----- From: "Eric" <eric@synthesizer.org> To: <idm@hyperreal.org> Sent: Saturday, October 05, 2002 9:29 PM Subject: [idm] Re: D'arcangelo/Solvent split Suction records 005

yes buy the used ones you find in the want ads or post to a message board. there is really no other reason for a new dj to buy any other turntable you HAVE to have experience on them whether it is your 50th year or your first year djing whether down the line you buy different ones you will always run into 1200's more often than not. Yes I am a snob when it comes to 1200's -Joel kasi wrote:i know everyone wants 1200's...that is what you are 'supposed' to have right? well i am just getting into dj'ing and i am soliciting opinions on turntable preferences, i mean, if i don't have a thousand dollars is there any point to even start dj'ing at all?<(haha) thank you for your time. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org [3 Decker SoundSystem - MA,Satalite SoundSystem,Neverending Echo - MA] 10.09.02 Live & Direkt (Club Marque 366 main st. worcester) 11.?.02 All reggae set @ Regis College (All GIRL COLLEGE!) 11.08.02 Hot skin contest Club Marque w/ Optimus Prime 11.12.02 All reggae set @ Vertigo (state st. boston) MIXES FOUND @ http://www.neverending-echo.com/audio.htm http://americandnb.com --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!?
