for all you canadians who've been complaining that you couldn't order
any of the amazing kracfive recordings in your own country (you know who
you are!), electrocd.com has just started carrying all of their
available titles, including the brand new japanese release of _pacman
and colongib 2_. you can find it all at:

the k5 sound is always smooth & fresh, but for newcomers, i especially
recommend kettel's _dreim_ (patently beautiful IDM in the vein of plaid
or boards of canada), original instrument's self-titled CD (particularly
for fans of otto von schirach & other crazy DSP projects--some awesomely
fucked up rhythmic stuff here!), as well as octopus inc's classic debut
album _mere things & mindless creatures_ which i hear is just about to
go out of print (this might just be your last chance to get it for a
little while!)
audio clips will be added shortly... new labels coming up in the next
weeks include throat & aesova, both of which are experimental labels
releasing some of the very finest 3" CDs one can find nowadays.
