Yeah, I'm not really into anything that Mike P is doing lately. Aphex gives up 200+ old tracks for free. Mike P does three albums of it and charges. Limited 12"s that are released at inflated/collector's prices instead of what it actually costs to manufacture and profit from them. I mean, I don't know the production game, but I can't imagine it costs $2,899 to press up 100 12"s. I may be completely wrong about that, and I'm happy to eat my words if it's true. OH AND WE DON'T DO DIGITAL RELEASES. Please. "Furthur Electronix is a label that will put out good quality electronic music, in the forms of Techno, Deep house, IDM, Electro and Acid. With the help of Majkel from Stockholm on the graphics, we want to create excellent design along with the sound. We will press enough for the collectors and DJs to play these records worldwide." Disagree. Obviously it's not my place to tell anyone how to run their business, but the walk doesn't seem to match the talk. On Mon, Aug 20, 2018 at 2:18 PM Clint Anderson <clinta@gmail.com> wrote:

i KNOW i'm over reacting but i'm PISSED i checked the bleep store every day for weeks for this release (which i can simply get the FLACs for free for any time) because i really wanted to BUY the record and send money to the person who made the music every day, check check check release comes out, gone in 20 minutes while i'm at lunch then months later, OH WE'RE GOING TO DO ANOTHER 100 same fucking thing, checked every day for weeks, gone in 20 minutes come on, i'm sitting here trying to give you like $27 for 2 tracks of music because i really love Brainwaltzera and you're sitting there saying basically, we don't care if you EVER get this music, or even hear it -- and at the same time HYPING it constantly i don't understand what the goal is here? to drive up demand for a product so you can sneer the the people who wanted it? Could not agree more. Maybe it's because I'm an old goat now, but I just don't have the patience for that sort of crap. I'll buy the new cEvin Key today instead, where I have the option for uber ltd (200 copies with a bonus flexi that I *really* want but can't afford today), or two more widely available versions so everyone who wants can listen to the musics. There's a Bleep Furthur Electronix mix up on SoundCloud - https://soundcloud.com/bleep_bot/bleep-mix-36-furthur-electronix Features tracks from both of these releases too. Further comment: I'm not really into the artificial scarcity of music and do think that a vinyl only limited edition is an odd choice. This occurs with other labels I'm interested in too, and I don't really like it. I like vinyl and digital files, and ideally have both. It's not uncommon for vinyl releases to be very limited these days, and the availability of digital files alongside those don't seem to stop good music from selling, so why do it?
