Yeah, I'm not really into anything that Mike P is doing lately. Aphex gives up 200+ old tracks for free. Mike P does three albums of it and charges. Limited 12"s that are released at inflated/collector's prices instead of what it actually costs to manufacture and profit from them. I mean, I don't know the production game, but I can't imagine it costs $2,899 to press up 100 12"s. I may be completely wrong about that, and I'm happy to eat my words if it's true. Further comment: I'm not really into the artificial scarcity of music and do think that a vinyl only limited edition is an odd choice. This occurs with other labels I'm interested in too, and I don't really like it. I like vinyl and digital files, and ideally have both. It's not uncommon for vinyl releases to be very limited these days, and the availability of digital files alongside those don't seem to stop good music from selling, so why do it?
