Leaf at MIDEM 6. Forthcoming Leaf events 7. Leaf radio broadcasts 8. 2001 charts This is our first newsletter of 2002, and it looks likes it's going to be our busiest and best year yet. You'll find info here on some new goodies on the website, plus live gigs and our round up of 2001. We're planning new albums this year by SUSUMU YOKOTA, MANITOBA, GORODISCH, A SMALL GOOD THING and more, including three exciting new signings. Keep 'em peeled! 1. FREE LEAF CD OFFER FREE Leaf sampler CD with all purchases over 20 UKP at http://posteverything.com/leaf The more alert among you will have noticed that The Leaf Label gave away a free CD (entitled WATCH FOR TSUNAMI WHEN YOU FEEL EARTH QUAKE) at their recent London party, stuffed full of Leafy exclusives. The remaining CDs are here, and we will be giving them away with all purchases of 20 UKP (excluding Postage & Packing) or more, while stocks last. Just place an order as normal, and we'll throw in the CD - that's all you need to do. The promo only CD was created to mark the occasion of the label's major London event on 10 December 2001 (featuring live appearances from Eardrum, Manitoba and Gorodisch, plus DJs Graham Sutton, Rob Ellis, Tony Morley and Four Tet). Copies of the CD were given to all ticket holders. The CD includes a number of exclusive tracks that will not be available on official Leaf releases, plus previews of new Leaf releases from 2002, including new signings Murcof and Boom Bip & Doseone. Here's the tracklist: A Small Good Thing : 'A Mighty Stillness (remix)' Manitoba : 'Pat Benatar's Hairdresser' Murcof : 'Maiz' Boom Bip & Doseone : 'The Birdcatcher's Return' Rob Ellis : 'Triminufaykinsymph' 310 : 'Firing Line (live at Smallfish)' Susumu Yokota : 'Mix / Weave.Spool.Fiber Mix' Gorodisch : 'B.O.F. (The Kitchen Sink Mix)' for more info, go here: http://www.posteverything.com/artists/release.php?id=1583 2. NEW LEAF T-SHIRTS LIMITED EDITION MALE & FEMALE DESIGNS Designed by Non-Format, responsible for most of The Leaf Label's consistently excellent sleeve design, and printed on high quality, British made, 100% cotton, these T-shirts are an extension of the label's latest design aethetic, mirrored by a new website frontend (coming soon!), new club visuals and the 'Watch For Tsunami When You Feel Earth Quake' CD. Printed black and green on charcoal cotton, with subtley different male and female designs, the shirt feartures a large print on the front with a discreet Leaf logo, and a further print inside the back of the neck. Available in Medium and Large (Male) and Small and Medium (Female), and strictly limited edition - once this batch has gone, we won't be printing more in these colours, so snap them up quick. Beware of the dog! T-shirt info and sales: http://www.posteverything.com/news/article.php?id=1596 3. New limited edition 310 CD 310 - 'Nothing To See Here' As well as the recent reissues of 310's first two albums, 'AUG 56' and 'SNORKELHoUSE', (as 'Downtown & Brooklyn Only'), the website now has a very limited number of copies of the new 'Nothing To See Here' ambient release on the US Desolat label. The CDs come in individually hand packaged sleeves with an original photograph on each one, and won't be around for long, so head to: http://www.posteverything.com/artists/release.php?id=1559 4. Leaf at MIDEM The Leaf Label will be represented at this weekend's MIDEM event in Cannes. If you'd like to arrange a last minute meeting, email <tony@posteverything.com> as soon as possible! 5.
