I have prepared some soundbites for the forthcoming
AFX album:
"Boring"
"Self Indulgent"
"Nothing Special"
"Well I listened to AFX when he was recording on R&S,
and to be honest none of his new stuff compares"
The list could go on but it bores me already.
It may be old news pointing out the, sometimes,
unnecessary critical nature of a lot of listeners, but
when you can predict a backlash before it has even
begun I think that it may be the "Gestapo" themselves
that are playing the same record.
When an artist becomes more popular it is inevitable
that his/her "hardcore" fans will tune out as they
resent the fact that the "less than hardcore" fans are
tuning in and they lose their individuality, because
it's no fun to listen to the same music as everyone
else.
But, alas it is a tired subject and I will drop it
Just a final word to all those people out there who
thnik we should be more critical, "Try not to enjoy
listening to music too much, you may have nothing to
write about in this forum".
DISCLAIMER: This posting is not directed at any one
user in particular, well maybe the dude who said
people should be more critical but that's it.
