I haven't heard Hecker before (he will be playing at 60DUM, Kevin Drumm's studio, on Thursday), but the Reader describes it as "that shift at a glacial pace -- his clicks, scrapes, whirs, gurgles, and pulses flicker like environmental recordings", so it's likely microsound stuff. As for Chris Clepper, he has been using Nato for the video part. Check out Peter Margasak's Post No Bills at www.chireader.com for more info.
