Blackouts is all right, but I would say it doesn't hold a candle for me to the early Ash Ra Tempel stuff (_Join Inn_, _Ash Ra Tempel_, _Schwingungen_). Then again, you didn't take to _Aqua_ which is one of my fav electronic(ish) records of all time, so maybe it's just a matter of different wavelengths. I do agree with you about Tangerine Dream; when they were on, they were ON (_Phaedra_, _Atem_, _Zeit_), but look at what they're doing now. Ugh... and even some of their midperiod stuff got pretty drossy indeed. -p. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Any more suggestions for such warmth? How does Laraaji's Days of Radiance sound? --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

There are only 3 albums in my collection that fit that grouping: Laraaji - Ambient 3 Ashra - Blackout Divination - Sacrifice (this last on is Laraaji & Laswell) If any knows any beautifully psychedelically similar albums, let us all know. CPI - experimental noise at http://www.mp3.com/cpi/ DXM - abstract ambient at http://www.mp3s.com/dxm1/ ......and of course... http://www.mp3.com/AwkwardBehaviour "Wouldn't you say, Pooh?" / "Say what?" asked Pooh, opening his eyes. / "Music and Living-" / "The same thing," said Pooh. _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
