You could easily be talking about the new Boards of Canada. -- andrij. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

This Ninja Tune/Matador compilation talk reminds me.....the Darla 100 (100th release) compilation is great. Some great new and old tracks by some very nice bliss-out type stuff (Sweet Trip, Color Filter, etc), and yeah, some indie rock stuff is in there too, The new Sweet Trip song was quite nice, if quite a departure from their old stuff--almost a bit of a Slicker feel going on. Anyways, quite a deal for 4 cds for less than $20 and a nice introduction to the Darla "bliss out" stuff too (basically indie guitar idm). --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

We can bring this back to music, sort of. Anybody found a better place for pressing than GZCD? --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

8/10/00 Maybe I just got sick of looking... but the best prices I found were through CDMan in Vancouver (www.cdman.com). According to the email updates, I should be receiving the goods mid-next week for a turn around time of approximately 10 days. I haven't received anything yet, so no gushing until I inspect the finished product. On a totally different subject, could anyone recommend a disk that is mainly D'n'B breaks without basslines/melody stuff/etc. I hosh a late night public radio work in Boulder, Colorado and focus on noisy-spacey jazz and avant classical stuff and I love bringing up wicked breaks beneath it all. No mixer yet, and the board we have doesn't allow us to kill frequency bands... Any suggestions y'all could offer would be greatly appreciated. Down with the bass.
