I have both. The sounds out of the sub 37 are "fatter" but they kind of all have a similar rumbly vibe to them (trademark moog). The Pro 2 is way more versatile on so many levels BUT the core oscs are digital and you can hear it - despite the analog filter they pass through. The Pro2 also has 4 types of delay and like 10 types of distortion - though most of the distortions just kind of take it into the same territory.
Basically do you want something that does a specific flavor of all-analog lead/bass very well - or something that covers a ton of ground but lacks a bit of "feel it in your bones" oomph. Both good units.

i've used my friend's sub 37, great sounds come from that filter. the duo mode is pretty cool too, it's obviously not as good as two full voices but it still gives some rich harmonies. other than that, pretty standard synth (esp. analog) features, but sounds++
on a related note, does anyone know any "active" gear listservs? is the Synth-L hyperreal list any good?

Not played with the Sub 37 myself but two of my friends have it and they absolutely love it. They are also owners of big fat modular setups as well as softsynths and others stuffs. So yeah. It good.
