Susanne Brokesch has one cd/2xlp that i know of. It is called Sharing The Sunhat and released back in '97 on the Disko B label. It has the same kind of dark experimental minimal sound as her Sakho & Cheap label releases. Earlier this month Susanne Brokesch released a new 12" on the Ego Vacuum label called Sound Track 03. I dont have this one myself but a friend does and he speaks highly of this new one as well. -->-Lance--- lance@inaudible.com p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

thanks for the reply Lance. Yea, I saw Sharing The Sunset on the SG database, but that was the only thing they had listed. I guess my best bet would be to hunt down that and the new 12" on Ego Vacuum. The reason I asked is because I'm working on a lo-fi minimal mix, lots of tiny, static clicking noises, not so much into the BC dub style. I really like the List records on Klang, so has this artist released more material like this in the past? Maybe I should be buying more Finnish techno, I used to have some Panasonic but gave it to my x-girlfriend. pHinnWeb doesn't have much in terms of RA or mp3's, anyone recommend sites with RA or mp3 of newer Panasonic? maybe I should be asking Phinn this question. well anywayz, thanks again, stephen "Lance @ Inaudible" wrote:

I dont think the new Brokesch record or her Disko B album fit the type of sound you're looking for... I dont have the List record but I believe it was recorded by the Eight Miles High guys (aka Jörn Elling Wuttke & Roman Flügel) who also record as Acid Jesus, Alter Ego, Warp 69, Rebel Youth, Primitive Painter, & Sensorama to name a few of their many guises. The styles of their releases varies greatly from guise to guise and release to release. An unofficial discog for these guys is located at (but the List record isnt mentioned in this one): http://explizit.org/tursa/AcidJesus_discog.html -->-Lance--- lance@inaudible.com p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Did the older Kirlian have this type of sound? I've been tempted to buy Chicken Wings & Beef Fried Rice on Disko B but the CD cover looks so cheesy as hell. What about Vladislav Delay? I've never really heard their stuff.

Are you sure about that? I'm not surprised. So far there have been two List records on Klang and both are very good.

Dont have a Kirlian releases but you can hear RA samples from all of his Disko B releases at: http://www.diskob.com/a/kirlian/index.html Regarding Vladislav Delay, I'm a big fan of their stuff. Their Ele cd on the Sigma Editions label is in that minimal electronica sound that you're after. Their Chain Reaction 12"s have more of BC-flavor to them so those might not be to your liking. For more info check the Erkki's unofficial Vladislav Delay discog at: http://www.sci.fi/~phinnweb/finndiscog/delay/

A reliable source gave me that info and seeing as how the Klang Elektronik label is owned/ operated by Wuttke & Flügel, it's fair to assume the info is true.
