I know this question has probably been asked countless times, but I never really cared about the answers before (silly me).....but which are the better techno/313 records shops in old London town? I like kinetic on old portland street, just off regents street (to the north of oxford circus). A very wide range of music, plenty of decks and a wide range of generally very friendly and helpful people to serve you. Just a happy customer.. There's also all the shops along berwick street in soho but they're often a bit busy and so less friendly. I would say Sister Ray on Berwick Street is my favourite haunt. Guys are cool, but it can get busy. One street. Berwick street. Head for Oxford Circus Tube station. Walk up Oxford Street toward the large hotel at the end. Somewhere between the Tube stationb and the hotel is Berwick Street, It should be on the left hand side. 94 Berwick Street is the BEST record store in London-Sister Ray. Also, there are at least 10 other good shops on berwick Street, namely Select-a-disc. If I am correct, selecadisc is 63 and 64 Berwick street. So there are the goodies. n --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

The Smallfish shop opens this Thursday (11th) with a live set from Swayzak at 8pm. It's on 372 Old Street, EC1. Dave Cawely's second hand section goes on sale so if you are looking for old classics......I'll see you there. Apologies for the shameless plug, but we do have an amazing shop.
