oh boy! whos richard thomas? this is really the first time i have played squarepusher on my show in YEARS. i think since feed me weird things came out :) i think its a very impressive, very dynamic 12". in an odd way it reminds me of the mike dred/peter green stuff -- just in the way it chnages from harsh to soft, from very insane to very coherent. but i am sure im alone on this ! chris. a nutcase. :) makes some alien electronic jazz. not fusion. way abstract. i only have 2 things by him (the wonderful 'what my ears can see' 7" & 3 tracks on the 'invisible soundtracks 2' 12", both on leaf) & i cherish them greatly. his 2 lo cds are about as hard to find as a saturn lp (which puts the oft-used sun ra comparison to new levels).

that's just what i wanted to hear. like i said, i know jenkinson can do good stuff, he just doesn't very often. :) or at least not to my taste. but i would definitely see him provide a percussive backdrop for richard thomas' lunatic tunes to an awesome effect. how limited is this 12" anyway?

cant be that rare/limited.. i think all the 'lo' stuff is pretty easy to come by. noisenoisenoise in costa mesa/so-cal has a bunch.. 10$ or so.
