Anyone have, or know where one might obtain, the DVD that Hawtin produced for the Winter Music Conference? See: http://www.m-nus.com/ Plastikman in 5.1 is just too much to imagine! Brian

The DVD is not a release. There are 2 other tracks on it that are not MINUS tracks. I imagine as these visual projects add up, MINUS will release a full on DVD in Y2K. Tosh

I got a copy, and it's incredible. Keeping with the minimalist theme, the visuals consist of just two elements: black O's and maroon dots. They appear on the screen and proceed to change pattern, size, and number. It's amazing how much depth and various other effects can result from those two elements. The other song on the disc is by some drum and bass artist (forgot the name), and consists of a kung-fu flick synced up to the rhythm. pretty cool as well. Hopefully more artists will get involved in this medium (and DVD drives will get cheaper). darren Tosh Cooey wrote:

For some reason, this post kick started my memory....Does anyone have any info about the Richie Hawtin drum & bass track that was supposed to be released on Mo'Wax last year? I remember hearing "about it", but I never actually heard if it was formally released. Just curious... bc On Mon, 5 Apr 1999, Darren Keast wrote:

If anyone is interested, I have this CD single for sale ($10) or trade. It also features remixes by Photek and Alex Reece. Che
