Unless they post under cryptic psuedonyms, We ( the group ) rarely post here. Sometimes I post concert dates, as I did yesterday. They're touring Europe with Raz "Badawi", whose Asphodel release debuts this month. I'll try to pass this info on but they won't be stateside for a while. Peter PS: Sam, Sam, Sam- Eno *revolutionized* the Talking Heads...and on the Eno thing, while he certainly does not carry the torch that he once did, so what? He *invented* the torch and perhaps invented fire itself. Similar arguments can be made of late period Picasso, Warhol, Mozart, Davis, etc etc ....many talented folks just can't hold up the weight of their genre by themselves. They just *get old*. vvm: just got 'em....awaiting piggy and machine grunts. np: "Microscopic", the new minimal compilation on Caipirinha.... = ) YUM...! compiled and edited by our own Talylor Deupree...EXCELLENT!

A certain 'krautrock' musician was looking for band members and asked me for help tracking them down.

Let me rephrase. Pre-Eno--Talking Heads are AMAZING lo-fi band. Eno--higher production values, classic songs that somehow don't have the same soul of their early stuff. Post-Eno--over-produced crap. Eno changed what the talking heads were all about, although it only bit them in the ass once he left. Same thing with Beck... His lo-fi stuff is great, and his hi-fi stuff is "cool," but often rather pointless/soulless. But i ramble... ObIDM... The Soup-Disk comp out of perspective is quite cool, and a deal for 2 bucks. You've hear the drill--hip-hop, jungle, experimental, free jazz... Mostly just screwed up beats, but a lot of fun. Sam

i really enjoyed the mellower tracks on this.. and i recall liking the vocals of one of the tracks.. 2$ it was, and i liked it.. at points too drill and bass and jazzy for me, but at other points, right on. chris.
