greetings, I was fortunate to get the following 12": - BEAUMONT HANNANT: TASTE AND TEXTURES VOl 1 - AS ONE: WE NO LONGER UNDERSTAND These records are so good. I cannot believe that they were mad a long time ago. the records in my opinion are still relevant. When people on this list talk about the "good old days of idm", that SEEMS to be true. Anyway.......... I would like to know what happened to B. Hannant and Kirk D. I know that Kirk D has remixed a few people recently, but B Hannant seems to have fallen off the face of the earth. Especailly B. Hannant, these two guys have so much talent and produce such excellent music that it seems criminal that there back catalog is discontinued and that they are not producing new music. Finally, I am looking for B. Hannant's Taste and Textures Vol3 on cd, cdr, mp3 whatever..... Kirk DeGiorgio is still around, he just put out a 12" called the Sky Series EP. 1 as "Super-A-Loof" done with Jamie O'Dell, he did some As One stuff not too long ago. BTW, this poster is totally right, "We No Longer Understand" is a great EP, and as a shameless plug I'll point out I'm selling that, the Celestial Soul album from As One (old classic) and the Super-A-Loof 12" listed above if anyone's interested. King Tubby CD's accepted in trade. :O) Beaumont Hannant as far as everyone knows seems to have stopped making music some time ago. His last few records were really not given much praise on this list. Yet again let me point towards Ian O'Brien presents Abstract Funk Theory (I posted about that a day or two ago) which features a Super-A-Loof track.
