Technics makes a cd player that does this (makes random mode a little more friendly). Basically the same principle as those "Anti-shock" discmen. And as for the MD, I love it. 'Specially "Le Shark". But then again I thought Boards of Canada was crap, and _Explorers We_ wasn't varied enough. I like the beats given and the fun of random on it.
