Some days ago, I wrote on this list that my local store bought all the Ae
releases, and you advised me to get them all. We have this habit over here that
we draw cardswith names, and then you have to buy a present for that person. I
didn't know who picked my card, but I dropped lots of hints about Autechre (I
even left a note lying around with "Thing to buy: AeP, AeG" and the name of the
store). So my mother, who picked my card, went to store and bought the only copy
of Anti-EP. My father forgot the name on his card, but he thought he had to buy
a present for me, because I was hinting him all the time. He went to store and
asked for AeP, but it was gone, so the storekeeper sold him AeGarbage. Later
that day, I was in the store to buy Tri Repetae as a gift for myself, and I
noticed the two being gone. So in one day I got AeG, AeP and AeTR. (My father
will get another present for my sister) I love christmas.
