after 2 days of trying to track down morgan geist's new album on clear records_the driving memoirs_ i have finally found it :) tower records in london had 14 copies but couldn't find it anywhere. they said it was in the rock / pop department! hmv @ oxford circus had two copies [also in rock/pop dept.] and it took them 15 minutes to find me one. i have to say it was worth the treasure hunt and i'm looking forward to hearing him live this evening. adios np - beck - deadweight

Just so you all know -- I and many other people summarily delete any mail that comes through HTML-ized. On the Morgan Geist tip, he has a remix on CLR436CD "Reflection: The Moreerroronus World" rubbing remixing shoulders with 4 hero, Kirk Degiorgio, Plaid, and others. It seems like only yesterday that Morgan's stuff was showing up on Internet tape comps ... By the way, this remix comp is way solid, with a variety of styles represented, all well slamming.
