Can someone give me a review of either Brassic Beats I or II? I know vol I is know domestically available (WOohOo!) I don't know much about SKINT other than a Sensureal side project REQ that is supposedly on that label. Since i am a Sensurreal fan, I value your opinion. Reviews in private email welcome:) gil ps stupidest shit this week (so far): GROOVE RADIO's ENDLESS 3 BAR LOOP of the Spice Girls for 24hrs straight! NO interuptions. C'mon you know you heard it LA. Now can some explain how they can afford to have done that? I mean 24hours without one advertisement, that's a lot of $dough$ they lost, I assume.

No wonder I couldn't get a hold of Egil the other day when I called him up at the station, wasn't it him who created GROOVE altogether. A few years back, after MARS went away, he ran GROOVE RADIO as a nationally syndicated radio show? That is when GROOVE RADIO was pretty cool, actually. OH WELL, I have always thought BIG RADIO and CUTTING EDGE music *DON'T MIX*- this is NOT to say GROOVE RADIO was cutting edge, fuck no way. A BIG station shouldn't even CLAIM to be so, as 103.1 did, cuz it just can't be. Look what happened; the big wigs at 103.1 fucked you over. gotta keep low profile, that's why real techno gets played on KUCI and the like. Hope it's a lesson learned...tell Egil to ask KROQ for a job *LOL* gil

REQ is not a Sensurreal side project. Gerd is one half of Sensurreal. Skint material is trip hop/Trypno with experimental/abrstract tendencies. IMO the best label (consistantly putting out) for this type of music. Some other artist who have been on skint are: Bentley Rhythm Ace Lo Fidelity Allstars Fatboy Slim bEn Synaptic Records (Rick and Ben) 608 S.
